BioI am heavily involved in the SCA. I like to say that the SCA is my life and I work to support it. I just finished my Masters degree in Education so real life has interfered a bit and I find that perfectly acceptable. While I enjoy everything I do in the SCA I know it is a place to play and not a place to live. I find myself working on handwork and other SCA related projects most evenings when I don't have other obligations. I enjoy the SCA because it's an escape from modern cares and almost all of the little projects I like to do fit nicely into it. I also have a great group of friends who are supportive of all aspects of my life and whom I would never have met if not for the SCA. Unfortunately, the reality of school loans has hit and I haven't found that "dream" job that I'd hoped would help financially; because of this my involvement in anything outside of my own home is rather limited. This is very disappointing and I hope that someday soon I'll find what I'm looking for.
